I could always tell when my kids were teething cause they would get bright red cheeks, fever, drooling all over the place, they were irritable and I would have a hard time putting them to sleep!

Hi there. It is quite possible that your son is starting to teeth. His gums will be sore and there is a jelly that you can buy at the chemist to help ease the pain. Where I live in New Zealand it is called bon-jella, but your chemist will be able to help you with what product you need. You just rub a little on his gums and it takes the pain away. Also if you have a look at his gums – please don't poke around just wait until he opens his mouth – you will see little white marks where his teeth will come through. It is a bit of a rough time for some parents – some babies teeth without any problems, other go through a tough time – in fact most do. Please do not worry too much. I know the crying can get you down but he is on 3 months old and needs his mum for cuddles and kisses and hugs and to try and make him all better. You will find that he will want to put all and everything in his mouth to chew on. Try and get him a teething ring, that will help. They come in the form of a rattle type ring. I wish you and your baby son all the best over the coming years. Hope this has helped. Good luck!!
Look in his mouth, usually the first teeth to come in are in front (but not always). If his gums look red and inflamed he's teething. Sometimes if you rub his gums you can actually feel the teeth as well. Try some cold teething rings, that should help.
Signs of teething are a very slight fever, chewing everything, fussiness, out of whack feeding schedule, not sleeping like normal, drooling, tugging at ear, very minor diaper rash, and sometimes a rash on their face. Your child will not likely suffer all the symptoms but these are all signs of teething. Around 11 weeks my son went through a growth spurt and he was a nightmare for 4-5 days screaming all the time not eating right and stuff like that. He also did the chewing on everything which he still does not at 7 months and still doesn't have any teeth. But your baby very well could be teething all babies are different =)
This is just a response to someone else's answer. Tylenol is not given by age with babies. It goes by weight. Talk to your doctor on what dose to give.
