Do Your Kids Floss Their Teeth ? Why or Why Not ?

I'm sure most of you here make your kids brush their teeth in the morning and/or before bed, but do you make your kids floss ? I just thought of this as I was flossing before bed and realized it's a habit that I picked up on my own. My mother never made me, nor even told me to do it.

is it normal to floss your teeth with your hair?

That's disgusting. I pray that this hair does not come from "down there"…

Suggestion:

Oh god, my teeth hurt when I floss. When will the pain subside?

I guess I have a mild case of gum disease, because my gums hurt when I floss.

How many more days of consistent flossing until my gums strengthen up?

Floss or brush teeth first?

does it even matter?

Suggestion:

In hygiene school they teach you, floss then brush. My routine is that I brush, floss, brush and rinse with a fluoride rinse (no alcohol rinses). I prefer to put my fingers into a clean mouth, that is why I brush before flossing, then after you floss you need to brush again to get the food particals out.
ACT (green bottle) is my choice for a daily rinse. Braun Oral B is the electric toothbrush that I recommend to my patients. Not a battery powered one, that is not strong enough.
All the best :)
