Can Wire Retainers Be Used to Fix Minor Crooked Teeth?

I got braces nerly three years ago wore my brace for a year now my teeth from the bottom have gone croooked slighty.. can wire retainers fix this the removeable ones? btw im 16 now and i got brace with nhs for free..? help please wat else procedures are there except brace because i dont want to get them in this age..??? il appriciate it alot! xx
