Is Chipped Teeth Bad?

im supposed to get it crowned when im 16 but now its bonded i totally regret it and hate myself for it will it rot soon will it become a problem in the futre plzz hellp need all questions answered and more would be nice :) my front teeth..btw

Suggestion:

If it's your front tooth, you should get a porcelain veneer, it will look completely natural!! They're used to correct chipped teeth, crooked teeth, stained teeth, buck teeth, small teeth etc..

Why did you choose the bonding ? If your dentist told you that was the best option for you at that time, then that is what was best for protection of your teeth. I do know that bonding can change color from smoking, wine, iced tea & soda.I do know patients that have had the bonding re-done due to chipping(front teeth) or staining. If you are concerned about the bonding and you are older now, speak to your dentist about your concerns and wanting the teeth crowned. The dentist will tell you your best treatment options.
