Is It Normal to Have Pain Two Weeks After Wisdom Tooth Extraction?
I had my lower wisdom teeth removed two weeks ago today, but over the past couple of hours have felt pain on swallowing on one side of my face. It's not severe or constant, but I'm worried that it's been a while since the extraction. Is this normal? All my stitches seem to have dissolved now, and I have been mouth-washing and/or brushing after every meal to make sure food doesn't get stuck in the holes. Is it normal for them to hurt as they heal up?
Suggestion:
I had four taken out at once and while most of the sites felt fine by two weeks, one of the extraction sites hurt and ached for at least four or five weeks, but it healed just fine. Actually, it continued to ache from time to time for about three months, but I've had no trouble with it since.

Might be a dry socket. look in your mouth and see if you can see where the blood should have clotted. If not you probably have a dry socket. Need to go back to dentist.
