Wisdom Teeth Removal – How to Use Syringe?

I just got back from my Dr. today is day 7 of my wisdom teeth removal. I was instructed how to use it, and when I came home I bled when I did so. Is this normal? How long is it to last? Finally, how long do I use the syringe for?

Suggestion:

i was told to wait days until i can use the syringe to clean my holes because i might disrupt the blood clot but because it's your 7th day ..thats seems normal. and about bleeding.. that is probably normal too but im not sure call your dentist to double check. (:
