Would You Have Dental Surgery Without Anesthetic?

Would you have dental surgery without anaesthetic?

Suggestion:

I do
The anesthetic does not work. ( same as my uncle and brother).

8 injections once and still felt everything. My dentist now uses a gel type stuff and is fairly ok.

Last dentist tried 4 injections and ended up with a fat lip as he stabbed this metal thing in to the nerve and just before he had the chance to say "does this hurt" he was doing a goldfish impression on the floor.

Um no.

I do. The terror of the needle is worse than the surgery.

And I do have an incredibly gentle dentist.

Absolutely no way! I have had this done once (through no choice of my own) and it has to be the worst thing ever. It completely put me off dentists for years. The pain was awful.

I'll even demand numbing if the dentist is working on a tooth that has been root treated, even though I'm told it won't hurt.
