How Can I Possibly Receive Help Getting Oral Surgery Done As I Cannot Afford It?

I have insurance that does not cover it, I am self employed and have Health Dental and Life insurance plans through Anthem Blue Cross of California, I already get special rates but I still cannot afford the procedures to extract all my wisdom teeth that have become very infected at times to where I have passed out.. yeah. I'n not a whiner but this kind of sucks it'll cost around $1,500 that I cannot shell out at the moment. I have recently went to the dentist and an oral surgeon who have just gave me a series of x-rays and told me unless I get the money I'm screwed.. I paid $300 total for that.. :( Please help

Suggestion:

yes the dentist u went to can send those x-rays to ur new dentist. Your X-rays belong to u anyway so u can ask to have them personally even if you wanted. If you cant get to a free clinic in your state then you can maybe set up a payment plan with ur office if they offer it. otherwise go and have the work done, dont tell them that you dont have the money with you today but when you get to the front desk to check out after the procedure say you forgot your debit card at home and you will pay next time since you dont have the cash on you. then start paying a little each month to pay it off. They cant keep you there if you cant pay and theres nothing they can do if they already did the work.

The health insurance should cover it. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out at the hospital years ago and it went through the health insurance unless you just have major medical. The dental should cover it if you they are just going to pull the teeth. Have the surgeon contract your insurance company. If neither agrees to pay, then I would find a dentist or surgeon who will accept payments or your credit card.

If you have infections that is an emergency. You can either go to Mexico,(which I have) its way cheaper and you get a dentist from America that does not want to pay the government taxes and insurances. Or go wait in the 6 month Obamacare line.
