What Can You Do for Yourself if You Think You May Have Have Sickle Cell?

I do not have a formal diagnosis. Wanted me divorced. Someone got money, not me.. No one ever talked to me about anything, I was pretty well shut out. I was healthier when I could get out & go when & where I wanted. I dreamed of remarrying, leprosy since divorcing. I cannot get legal assistance, have many enemies in the legal system with a death wish for me. I must be yellow at times? Not wanted in church.

I was healthier when married, could get out more, accepted more. INSURANCE, CLOUT. If you have jaundice they will think you are drinking or drugging. A glass of wine is relaxing but alcohol is a depressant, so is PAIN. Anxiety can occur. Beware.. They want to push psych drugs on me. You might benefit from one, however, they can cause priapism in M & W,, and so can sickle cell. I was not
physically injured, ever, in PE , in high school They were polite. This is a physical disease, not mental. I had attacks and remissions, still do. Told I had scleroderma,
Raynauds, possibly Myasthenia Gravis. Face drooped. Fatigue attacks, fatigue syndrome other symptoms. chronic anemia and they say my cells are too big. Fat, on a grease diet, which makes things worse. monitor blood sugar.Nerve damage can come from diabetes, loss of feeling in toes, increased risk of injury. Need a good glucometer. If dr. give one, better.
Fat is the cure for nothing, but grease is cheap. We do need some fat in our diets. My weight strains every part of my body. I moved here, and it was like moving into my coffin. I am grateful for what I have here, but having to stay in nearly kills me..

Clues in blood tests MAY BE high sed rates, or high CRP after an injury? I had ll2 and l45. I have costochondritis, chest injury pain? , but it affects my breathing? Slight jaundice in your eyes, or sudden jaundice when you do not drink or use drugs,or rarely drink. If you are dark skinned look at your sclera, the whites of your eyes, down below the eyelid. Look at the palms of your hands.
Avoid tobacco, it constricts your blood vessels and hurts your lungs. Chewing can cause sores.

I will share with you WHAT I FOUND TO WORK FOR ME with the problems I have. Cut the tips of fingers out of some light weight gloves around the house for cold hands for doing housework and to protect your hands. I have bouts of pain. Wear sox. Be careful of wool and latex. I bought some wool sox which Ithought were heavenly and warm. I think they may have set off an allergic reaction, delayed, both feetturned red and itched like crazy, which I proceeded to scratch because it was drving me insane.Rebound. Sleep in sox, glove Comfort. If something is not comfortable, or you feel pain, tend to it, stop it. Do not wear constricting clothes or tight shoes. Keep your feet warm and dry. Cold, wet can cause problems. You might want to wear light weight, but supportive, thick soled shoes.
If you think you have ulcers, beware of products with aspirin.

Treat any symptoms of gerd or ulcers with Mylanta like over the counter meds, or tums. Beware of really hot foods, really cold foods, or spicy foods…injury. Dentures need to fit. Good dental care, early. (I now have cavities in every tooth left, and one that is abscessing. My dental money was taken and I have tons of medical on my credit. This problem is not why I could not work,but now I can't.))
;You need a decent diet. A blender or food chopper might come in handy, chop your food. Do not swallow big chunks of food. Chew thoroughly. I love potatoes now. Never understood, but
They call this diet, mechanical. You might want to avoid a lot of gassy food. If it causes discomfort, decrease it. We need some roughage? Dont we, I do , in order to have bowell movements. That is another important area…don't get constipated. Stool softeners,mild ones might help, but vegetables are good and fruits, you need to watch the acid. If it hurts you, don't eat it, or alter it.

Rice might bother you if you eat a lot and it is not done. Hemorrhoids..need treatment. Don't strain at your stool. Beef , chop or grind it, and go easy on it. It tends to cause problems and is high fat and may set off your gall bladder. I am serious about apple cider helping to relieve gall bladder attacks.

If you itch, you might find relief in Benadryl. However, some people cannot take this, it might make you sleepy, or hyper. It will also make you tired if you take a lot of it.
Avoid extremes in bathing in water temp. Don't let the shower run on an injury, not the hot or the cold. Avoid hot packs or ice packs, avoid extremes. Avoid injuring yourself. Don;t get to be a hypochondriac. I may not have this,but these things would be good if you had it or thought you did until you get a doctor or diagnosis. Accused of dieting a lot. I did not. I watched my weight. Being overweight made every problem I have worse. Then if you diet, they think you are on drugs.

Suggestion:

Every one says that for losing weight one must burn more calories then one eats.

All focus on either eating less or burning more. Strangely enough when u eat less ur body heats up initially. After some time there is no energy in the body. So people says eating less is not the final solution. One must eat less but do more exercises. When a person exerts more than he is used to in recent past he gets tired. The result he will rest more or eat more.

So what is the solution. Those who have seen titanic, would remember that man woman body in touch produces lot of heat. That means it burns lot of calories. A cold a person burns more calories.

Then u have some people who say that sex act burns lot of calories. But that tires out a person. There is a limit to that as well. Physically as well as emotionally.

Now start thinking – is it just the sex act that produces hear. I do not think so. Even body contact produces lot of heat. That is not tiring physically of emotionally.

It could be emotionally. But I wonder whether it has to be body touch by other sex or could be even contact with the person of same sex.

May be the heat is generated even when ur own body touches other parts of the body.

I think that is true.

So to burn more calories one may try sleeping without putting on clothes. Wearing pants or shirts may cause the body parts not touching other body part.

By when u are not wearing anything but are safe under suitable mattresses or quilts ur body parts are in touch. When u are sleeping u can burn more calories.

That will teach u to master ur body better over a period of time.

U can eat what u feel like and burn those excess calories without tiring urself. May be u are fresh and more energetic in the morning when u get up to burn more calories.
