How many more days of consistent flossing until my gums strengthen up?
Suggestion:
I have good news & bad news. First the bad: While it can take a week or two for some people to feel better, for others it can take a month or more before the pain even begins to ease up. It can take 2 months before flossing starts to feel really good (like a massage). The good news is that you may have caught it before you have bone loss, but see your dental hygienist to know for sure (keep flossing till you see one). More good news: you only need to floss once a day! Keep it up, you'll be glad you did!

I never flossed as a kid and when i started to floss as an adult my teeth hurt really bad for about a week. Keep up the daily flossing and after a week or two they won't even feel it.
It took mine about a week to get used to it, be sure to use a good floss that is thin and waxed so it slides easier. Be sure to stick to it, or it is like starting over if u miss a day or two.
It could take anywhere from a week to two weeks. That depends on the severity of your gum disease. If your gums bleed when you floss and when you brush, you may have a little more than a mild case of gum disease. You have to continue flossing everyday to get the gum disease to go away. Even though your gums don't hurt or bleed anymore, you still have to floss at least once in a 24 hour period to the gum disease away.
well it depends how bad the gum disease is, but just keep flossing once a day and brushing twice (remember to brush your gums lightly) and its will get better in time.
i'm a dental assistant and it hurts if u bearly floss but if the pain is excruciating u probably do have some type of gum disease and u will need to see your dentist. but if its not that bad, just keep doing it everyday and the pain will eventually go away.
FIrst you should go to your dentist, have your periodontal pockets measured and have a professional cleaning to remove any dental calculus (tartar) and start with a clean slate. If you only have gingivitis due to plaque, you should improve in ~2 weeks. If there is calculus below your gums it needs to be removed professionally.
