Does Anyone Know Any Cheap Teeth Whitening Tricks?
I don't want to get them professionally done but also don't want my teeth damaging. I feel self conscious because of my teeth and I'm just wondering does anyone know maybe some tips to whiten them with things in the home? Or things to buy online that actually work. Ps I'm from the uk so no American products x

i am a dental nurse and there is no shortcuts, only using whitening toothpase which wont make them white anyway. the only way is to use dental bleach, and dont gargle and spit hydrogen peroxide, it's dangerous. baking soda does not work

Ok, I am not an expert but I have taken a lot of biology and experimented on myself. Hydrogen peroxide is actually the active ingredient in many over the counter whitening strips and has worked well for me and my husband. It takes longer than the strips but it kills the bacteria that cause plaque. Ironically, I have only lessened my use because of some cavities I plan to have fixed since it is really better than alcohol based mouth washes like listoriene (sp?). I have had dentists disagree with me on this board before, but I swear from personal experience (and looking at the ingrediet list) that hydrogen peroxide will help with everything from teeth whitening to body oder to acne-all because it kills bacteria and it's super cheap.
It is what I use and prefere and I have 7 years of college under my belt.
Baking soda
I just recently bought some "Crest white strips advanced 2 hr", and it was my first time using them.
They actually work! I read on the internet that for some people, the process was painful, but I don't have sensitive teeth, so it didn't hurt and my teeth was white after 2 hours!
Also, this doesn't damage your enamels and the box says it lasts for 3 months.
You would be well advised to visit your dentist. I have to say that for legal reasons. You probably cad do better than go to Boots. Most products are based on bleach or a mild acid. My mother used salt or bi-card of soda,but it could scratch your teeth.
Baking soda,tooth paste , and lemon juice on the brush all at once and brush your teeth. Baking soda alone with tooth paste helps it work too but there's better results with all three ingrediants
The best teeth whitening product around right now is Idol White. It's a pen type applicator that you use to apply whitening gel on your teeth. It's easy to use and you get really fast results.
It's also pretty popular among celebrities, it's the one that the Kardashians are promoting.
